Privacy policy
Autonex Store Locator ("the app") is provided by Autonex360, Lahore, Pakistan ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app collects when a merchant installs it on a Shopify store, how we use it and how it is deleted.
Information we collect
- Shop details. Your shop domain and the access token Shopify issues when you install the app. We use them only to read and save your store locations in your own Shopify store.
- Store location data. Names, addresses, phone numbers, opening hours, map coordinates and photos that you upload or enter. These are saved in your Shopify store as metaobjects and Shopify files. We do not keep a copy on our servers.
- App settings. Your display settings, including an optional Google Maps API key, are saved in your own Shopify store.
- Click counts. When click analytics is on, the app counts page views and taps on Call, WhatsApp, Directions and store cards, per store per day. Only the daily totals are stored, together with your shop domain. You can turn this off in the app's Settings.
We do not access or store your customers' personal information, orders or products.
Your shoppers
The app does not store shopper names, IP addresses, cookies or device identifiers. When a shopper taps Near me, their location is read by their own browser to sort stores by distance and is never sent to us. Maps are loaded from the map provider you choose (Esri, OpenStreetMap or Google), which receives the shopper's IP address to load the map, under that provider's own privacy policy.
How we use information
Only to provide the app: showing your stores on your website, saving your settings and showing your click statistics. We do not sell or share information for advertising.
Service providers
We use Vercel (app hosting) and Supabase (database for app sessions and click counts). They process data only to run the app on our behalf.
Retention and deletion
When you uninstall the app, we delete your session data. When Shopify sends a shop data deletion request, we delete the session data and click counts for that shop within 30 days. Store location data stays in your Shopify store until you delete it from Content › Metaobjects.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about your shop, or ask us to delete it, at any time by emailing us.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
